TurkoLister Pro ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Okyanusi Ltd. We are committed to protecting your personal data and processing it transparently in accordance with applicable law, including the UK GDPR and Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account & Contact Information
When you purchase a plan or contact us, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Billing information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card details)
- License key issued to your account
1.2 Extension Usage Data
The TurkoLister Chrome Extension may process:
- Product data from pages you visit on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Etsy, or Temu (title, price, images, URL) — only when you actively use the extension
- Your eBay OAuth access token — stored locally in your browser's Chrome storage, never transmitted to our servers except as required to complete eBay API calls on your behalf
- Extension settings and preferences stored locally
1.3 Technical Information
When you use our website or backend API, we may automatically collect:
- IP address and browser type (for security and fraud prevention)
- Request logs (date, time, endpoint accessed)
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: Activating and managing your license, processing eBay listings via API
- Billing: Charging for your subscription through Stripe
- Customer support: Responding to your inquiries
- Security: Detecting and preventing abuse, unauthorized access, or fraud
- Legal compliance: Meeting our obligations under applicable law
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We share your data only where necessary:
- Stripe: Payment processing (subject to Stripe's own privacy policy)
- eBay: When you authorize our extension via OAuth, your product listings are submitted directly to eBay's API on your behalf
- Hosting providers: Our servers at turkolister.co.uk (Plesk/UK-based hosting)
- Legal authorities: Where required by law
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and administrative safeguards to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Secure, access-controlled server infrastructure
- License keys stored as hashed values where possible
- Regular security reviews
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law:
- Active account data: retained while your subscription is active
- Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by UK tax law
- Support correspondence: retained for 3 years
- Server logs: automatically deleted after 90 days
Upon account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law (UK GDPR / KVKK), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") of your data where no legal basis for retention exists

8. Chrome Extension Permissions
The TurkoLister Chrome Extension requests the following permissions:
- tabs: To detect when you are on a supported product page
- storage: To store your settings and license key locally on your device
- scripting: To read product information from pages you actively use the extension on
- identity: For eBay OAuth authentication flow
- cookies: To maintain authentication state
- notifications: To alert you when listings are successfully created
The extension only accesses page data on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Etsy, and Temu — and only when you actively click extension buttons.
9. Third-Party Services
Our service integrates with the following third parties, each subject to their own privacy policies:
- Stripe — Payment processing
- eBay — Marketplace API
- OpenAI — AI features (product titles/descriptions are sent for processing)
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United Kingdom and/or Turkey. Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.
11. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
